 Andrew Carlson Flips the Summer Racing Switch
May 25th, 2012 // Elk River, MN – Carlson Motorsports’ snocross Pro-Lite athlete Andrew Carlson certainly isn’t viewing the snocross “off-season” as summer vacation. Last week, Andrew kept his racing skills fresh with a pair of class wins (Truck #1 and UTV Stock) during the inaugural race of the 2012 summer season at ERX Motor Park, and it was more than just an appetizer. This weekend, Andrew will head south to Mineral City Speedway in Fort Dodge, Iowa to compete in his first Can-Am IATVHSS race. Full Story

 Homecoming for Carlson Motorsports Leaves Team with Geneva Finale
March 13th, 2012 // Elk River, MN – The return to Minnesota was a welcomed sight for the Carlson Motorsports team. Home cooked meals, familiar pillows, and oversized race tracks including hometown ERX Motor Park, made for appreciative back-to-back race weekends in Fargo, ND and Elk River, MN. However with the year-end points battle coming down to the wire, the competition was fierce for the three available podium boxes at each race.

 Arctiva's Jake Scott Returns to the Podium at the ERX National in Elk River
March 12th, 2011 // JANESVILLE, WI – Arctiva’s Jake Scott continued to impress with his third podium finish in three races during Friday’s race at ERX Motorpark in Elk River, Minn. After earning a heat race win in the second round of the night, Scott was able to put together a solid race to finish in the runner-up position in the Pro Lite class. On Saturday, Scott also ran a strong race, finishing sixth.

 Strong Performances Set Stage for CM and the Hometown Stretch
February 28th, 2012 // Elk River, MN – The race that refused to go quietly into this fickle winter persevered after a three-week postponement, and fittingly so too did Johan Lidman and Andrew Carlson, as they battled through insane storm gusts and battle scars during the Eastern Nationals in Farmington, New York. After a lack of snow forced the always-popular upstate event to reschedule, race teams returned to the Finger Lakes Gaming facility greeted by a mountain of snow and another first class track courtesy of the ISOC track gurus.  Nearly 20,000 Fans Watch Carlson and Lidman Battle at the Silverdome
February 13th, 2012 // Elk River, MN – It was a challenging evening for Carlson Motorsports riders Johan Lidman and Andrew Carlson on the track. Yet in every other measure, it was an epic weekend for the team and the sport of snocross as the largest crowd of the season gathered under the roof of the Pontiac Silverdome for round 7 action. With the ISOC staff working overtime the week building up to the Friday night event, a mountain of snow was produced, hauled, and manicured into a national caliber snocross track inside the mega-complex.  Podium Pair for CM at Prestigious Eagle River World Championships
January 16th, 2012 // Elk River, MN – Enveloped by a facility and community rich with snowmobile racing heritage, tradition, and championships, Andrew Carlson and Johan Lidman continued their success from a week ago by capturing a third place finish in Pro-Lite and a second place spot in Pro-Open respectively. January 16th, 2012 // Elk River, MN – There’s no place like home was evident this past weekend as Team Carlson Motorsports blistered the ERX Motor Park track during ISOC Regional action to claim three victories against some of the best riders in the sport. While it may have said regional on the ticket stubs, it looked at times like a national at the line as several top level drivers including Garth Kaufman, Kyle Pallin, Cody Thomsen, and John Stenberg among others, competed at the national caliber ERX track. A combination of freak mechanical gremlins which plagued Pro-Lite rider Andrew Carlson, and flu-like symptoms hampering Pro-Open pilot Johan Lidman; the weekend became one of dashed hopes as both riders dealt with the adversities on a challenging Canterbury Park track. December 12th, 2011 // Elk River, MN – Punishing - in a word it sums up the massive ski-hill snocross track that confronted Carlson Motorsports racers Johan Lidman and Andrew Carlson for rounds 3 and 4 of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series (ACSS) in Bessemer, Michigan. It was a weekend filled with tough luck, unfortunate offs, and in the end a hint of redemption as Lidman finished 6th in Sunday’s Pro-Open main event.

Arctiva Racers Score Top-10 Results at Snocross Opener
November 29th, 2011 // JANESVILLE, WI – Arctiva racers made the trip to Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn. over the holiday weekend for the ISOC Amsoil Championship Snocross Series season opener. All the racers were eager to get back on the track and both Arctiva riders Johan Lidman and Levi LaVallee worked their way into the top-10 during both finals.

November 28th // Elk River, MN –The Carlson Motorsports Team greeted the debut of the 2012 ISOC National Snocross season with new iron, new sponsors, and renewed vigor resulting in a performance that exceeded expectations. Both Johan Lidman (Pro-Open) and Andrew Carlson (Pro-Lite) impressed early with qualifying victories, and were featured riders in both Saturday’s and Sunday’s main events.

 Carlson Motorsports Seeing Red as Team Switches to Polaris for 2012 Season
July 28th, 2011 // Elk River, MN – After a long and successful run with Arctic Cat, National snocross race team Carlson Motorsports will make the switch to Polaris for the 2012 winter racing season. The two-year agreement and change to Roseau red comes on the heels of a season that saw first year Swedish pro Johan Lidman capture the International Series of Champions (ISOC) Pro Privateer of the Year Award, and in the process gain the knowledge and experience to make a serious podium challenge this winter.
